What does "zero cloud" actually mean?
It means the AI model runs entirely on hardware inside your office. No data — not your documents, not your queries, not the AI's responses — is transmitted to any external server. OpenAI, Google, Microsoft, and Amazon never see a byte of it. The model processes everything locally and the results stay local.
What hardware do I need to run this?
A modern workstation or server with at least 16GB of RAM and, ideally, a dedicated GPU with 8GB+ VRAM. Most practices and firms already have hardware that qualifies. We assess your existing setup during the audit phase and recommend the minimum investment needed — which is often nothing.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes. Once deployed, the system runs entirely offline. This is by design — it means a network outage, a security lockdown, or a travel situation doesn't affect your access to the AI. It also means there is no ongoing subscription or usage fee tied to connectivity.
Which AI models do you use?
We deploy open-source models — primarily Meta's Llama family and Google's Gemma — depending on your hardware and use case. These are the same foundational models that power many commercial AI products, running locally on your hardware instead of in the cloud. We select and tune the model that performs best for your specific workflows.
How does this protect attorney-client privilege?
In United States v. Heppner (S.D.N.Y., Feb. 17, 2026), Judge Rakoff ruled that AI queries processed through cloud platforms are not protected by attorney-client privilege — because the data passed through a third party. The court noted that on-premises AI directed by counsel may qualify for privilege protection. Our architecture puts the AI inside your firm, under your control, with no third-party involvement. Privilege is protected by design, not by policy or a vendor's terms of service.
Is this HIPAA compliant?
Yes — by architecture. HIPAA's Privacy and Security Rules require that PHI be protected from unauthorized disclosure. Because our system processes all data locally with no external transmission, there is no cloud vendor to sign a BAA with and no third-party server that could be breached. Every staff member who has unknowingly used ChatGPT or Copilot with patient data has created a potential HIPAA violation. This eliminates that risk entirely.
What happens to our data during setup and training?
Nothing leaves your premises. Setup is performed on-site or via remote access to your local network. Any document indexing or model fine-tuning happens on your hardware. We never take copies of your client files, patient records, or proprietary data. You can verify this at any point — the system is fully transparent and auditable.
How long does implementation take?
A basic deployment — one or two use cases, existing compatible hardware — typically takes one to two weeks from signed agreement to go-live. More complex builds with multiple workflows, staff training, and custom model tuning run four to six weeks. We scope every engagement honestly before you commit to anything.
Do you offer ongoing support after deployment?
Yes. We offer retainer-based support for practices and firms that want continuous improvement, model updates, new use case development, and priority response. You own everything we build — ongoing support is available but never mandatory. Some clients prefer to manage independently after handoff; we document everything to make that straightforward.

We already use Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT — why should we switch?
You don't need to switch for everything — cloud AI tools have legitimate uses in contexts where confidentiality isn't at stake.
